Internal Auditor- Hybrid working

£35-40K , Chester

Elite Audit recruitment are working with an award-winning company in seeking an Internal Auditor to join their fast-growing Audit and Compliance team based in Chester.

Reporting to our Group Head of Risk & Compliance, you will work closely with their Risk & Compliance Manager, creating and managing annual audit plans, conducting planned and ad hoc audits across the group, with a focus on policies, processes, and procedures. The role will require you to work closely with director level stakeholders and auditees to manage audit scope, findings, and action plans through to completion whilst maintaining high standards of record keeping.

Responsibilities:

• Create annual audit plan, carry out themed/department audits and ad hoc audits as required across the Group.
• Focus would be on process audits, measured against policies, processes and procedures whilst also identifying improvements and supporting the business areas to work more effectively.
• Work with stakeholders and auditees for audit scope, findings and action plans being managed through to completion.
• Appropriate record keeping, stakeholder management and relationship management skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years internal audit or quality assurance experience in a corporate environment. The role will offer hybrid working after the 3 month probation period.
