We are hiring for a reputable UK FS orgnaistion. They are now recruiting for a Senior IT Audit contractor to join their team.
This role will be hybrid working with two days in the office per week, with the remaining three spent working remotely from home.
The role:
• Responsible for both pure IT Auditing (IT Infrastructure, Applications, Information Security, etc) in addition to IT-Related Business Auditing (Third Party Risk Management, Data Governance and Data Privacy, Operational Resilience).
• Utilise sophisticated tooling, including data analytics tools to support the auditing processes.
• In comparison to Internal Audit departments in other peer organisations (such as the big banks), you will have the freedom to bring more curiosity to the role and will find you have a lot more latitude and breadth without the need to follow set methodologies that you may find elsewhere.
The ideal Candidate:
• Prior experience in; IT Auditing, IT Risk, IT Governance or IT Security
• Good aptitude with a willingness to learn and self-improve, and able to bring curiosity to the role
• An understanding of IT and Business Risk and Controls
• May have exposure to the financial services sector or a come from a consultancy background
• May hold a relevant qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CISA, IMC, CFA or similar
